Funding for Innovators is a distinguished pre-seed funding initiative at UnternehmerTUM Europes leading center for innovation. Specializing in supporting extraordinary early-stage B2B start-ups in deep tech we provide the essential capital and network to bridge the first financing gap and facilitate additional funding. Our offerings include prototyping grants and founder-friendly convertible loans empowering you to transform your innovative ideas into scalable products. Located in the heart of Munich we are at the forefront of fostering groundbreaking technological advancements.
Your mission
- You are responsible for implementing a grant program for founders (Prototyping Grants) and selecting teams worthy of funding
- You handle the screening and selection of promising candidates for pre-seed capital investments
- Based on your analysis and due diligence you prepare decision memos for the investment committee
- You assist in the maintenance of our IT infrastructure
- You support in the creation of reporting documents
- You source dealflow at virtual and in-person events
Your profile
- You hold a degree in a business-related or technical field (e.g. economics business administrationengineering computer science or similar)
- You have initial experience in VC or starting a venture ideally with a tech background
- You are passionate about complex innovative technologies and eager to further develop and successfully
- manage an innovative investment program
- You enjoy taking responsibility developing creative solutions and making decisions
- You have fluent English skills and excellent communication abilities
