The area of Human Resources covers Talent Attraction and Acquisition Professional Development/Training Strategic HR Projects Personnel Administration and Labour Relations (involving a current team of seventeen people).

Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Advanced Vocational Training (CFGS) within the field of Business Administration or related field.
- Fluency in Catalan Spanish (business level).
Desired:
- Fluency in English (business level).
- Specific training in personnel administration.
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Minimum of 1 years experience in administration function and an exposure to a professional services organisation. Passion for administrative tasks and people is essential. Having experience working in HR departments will be an advantage.
- Ability and flexibility to work in a complex environment staying focused on best outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Good command in MS Office tools such as Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Detail/results oriented and excellent organisation skills.
- Used to prioritise in the context of multiple requests.
Desired:
- Biomedical Research Sector experience.
Main responsibilities and duties:
The candidate will provide support primarily in the HR administrative functions ensuring that all the HR procedures are being implemented properly and up to date. Specifically this support will include:
- Provide support and administrative assistance to the entire Human Resources Directorate also offering assistance to the activities of the Human Resources Agenda that require it.
- Perform administrative tasks associated with the onboarding and welcoming of new staff (before during and after their incorporation) ensuring at all times that people have everything they need during this stage. Maintain and update the database of both VHIR contracted staff and collaborating and external staff of the Institution ensuring the reliability and accuracy of the data entered into both physical and virtual systems and files.
- Assist project-related activities such as scheduling meetings sending information to stakeholders assist in projects sessions among others.
Labour conditions:
- Part-time position: 20h/week.
- Starting date: immediate
- Gross annual salary: 9.000 euros. Salary is consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
- Contract: 1 year contract with the possibility of extension to 3 years.
- Candidates must hold a functional diversity certificate of at least 33% to apply.
