VHIR offers a position for a Technical Researcher in cardiovascular within the Cardiovascular Diseases Research group.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor degree in Physics Computational Biomedical Engineering or related topics
- Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering Medical Imaging Biomedical Research or related topics
Desired:
- Fluency in Catalan Spanish English (professional level)
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Knowledge of TensorFlow Pandas
- Experience in medical imaging and data analysis
- Experience programming in Python
- Experience in AI modeling specifically in the development and fine-tuning of foundational models
Desired:
- Previous experience in medical research
- Previous experience in echocardiographic imaging analysis
- Previous experience in the development and fine-tuning of foundational models
- Previous experience in scientific report of results (abstracts research manuscripts)
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Research in cardiovascular image analysis with specific focus on cardiac ultrasound.
- Development of AI models for echocardiography analysis.
- Development of purpose-specific analysis codes for advance imaging analysis.
- Statistical analysis.
- Scientific report of results (abstracts research manuscripts).
- Maintaining a strict collaboration with engineers and clinical researchers of the cardiovascular imaging unit.
Labour conditions:
- Full-time position: 40h/week
- Starting date: July 2025
- Gross annual salary: 22..00000 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
