Job Description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:
  • 25 hours per week (5 hours per day Monday-Friday 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
  • Client Timezone: Australian Eastern Time

Job Description:

This is an exceptional opportunity to serve as a virtual extension of a growing business owner handling critical customer communications and diverse administrative operations. You ll be at the center of business activities managing everything from lead generation and customer service to inventory management and supplier coordination. The role offers comprehensive training and the chance to develop valuable skills across multiple business functions including customer relations data management research and basic financial operations. With the company s commitment to growth and proper staffing this position provides stability and potential for increased responsibilities as the business continues to expand.


Responsibilities:
  • Manage email correspondence with potential cafe clients regarding sample requests and pricing inquiries
  • Provide responsive customer service by handling general inquiries and support requests
  • Process student discount applications through manual review and approval workflows
  • Maintain and update inventory tracking systems using Google Sheets including forecasting activities
  • Conduct market research on packaging options and pricing delivering detailed recommendations
  • Facilitate communication with international suppliers regarding pricing and financial negotiations
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks including transaction reconciliation in Xero accounting software
  • Coordinate and schedule calls between prospects and the business owner
  • Serve as the primary administrative point of contact during business hours




Requirements

  • Basic proficiency with Google Sheets for data entry management and simple analysis
  • Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT for email composition and professional responses
  • Strong written English communication skills for professional correspondence
  • Minimum age of 19 years with willingness to learn and adapt to new systems
  • Reliable internet connection and consistent availability during specified work hours
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate multiple software platforms simultaneously
  • Professional attitude and ability to represent the business in customer communications
