About Us : PsychoGeriatric Services (PGS) is a leader in mental health with over 30 years of dedicated service to patients in nursing homes assisted living and other long-term care facilities. We are a growing team of 100 highly qualified psychiatrists nurse practitioners licensed psychologists and clinical social workers across Maryland Virginia Pennsylvania and Washington DC. We collaborate with our facility partners to deliver evidence-based mental health care services including psychiatric assessments medication management psychotherapy crisis intervention hospital placements and treatment educational training and quality regulatory documentation. Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LCSW-C) to join our team and provide psychotherapy services at our partner facilities. This role offers an opportunity for meaningful flexible and autonomous work while making a significant impact on the lives of seniors in our community. Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and family counseling to clients in nursing homes assisted care and other long-term care facilities.
- Consult educate and coordinate care with facility staff including nursing home administrator director of nursing and director of social services.
- Adhere to established regulations policies and procedures while exercising initiative and independent judgment.

Requirements
- Passion for working with seniors and providing exceptional care
- State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LCSW-C) or Psychologist
- Availability to work during normal weekday business hours (no night or weekend calls)
- Ability to stand for 20 minutes
- Ability to lift 15 pounds
