Bitcoin Advocacy Associate

The Role: Strategy is looking for a passionate and motivated individual early in their career to join our Treasury team as a Bitcoin Advocacy Associate. This individual will support the planning and execution of our annual Bitcoin for Corporations conference lead internal and external bitcoin education initiatives for corporate adoption and drive overall advocacy efforts to strengthen the companys leadership in the Bitcoin community. They will work cross-functionally to leverage partnerships and contribute to innovative marketing campaigns. They will also help to promote a DC-based hub for bitcoin community interactions. We are looking for a passionate individual to join our Bitcoin team and support our efforts in event management education and advocacy. 

In-Office Position: At Strategy Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday are in-office days with Fridays as work-from-home.

Your Focus: 

• Support Annual Conference: Assist with planning logistics and execution of Strategys annual Bitcoin for Corporations conference ensuring its growth and positioning as a premier industry event. Help coordinate speaker outreach sponsor engagement and promotional activities targeting corporate finance professionals. 
• Bitcoin Hub: Lead the growth of a bitcoin hub in DC at Strategy headquarters to enable collaboration offer shared co-working space arrange BitDevs (bitcoin developer meetups) corporate seminars on bitcoin education and student initiatives to drive bitcoin awareness at university campuses.    
• Internal Bitcoin Education: Collaborate with internal teams to provide employees with education tools and resources to promote a deeper understanding of Bitcoin and its applications in the enterprise space. 
• Corporate Advocacy Support: Work closely with senior executives and external partners to help educate and support companies exploring Bitcoin for their corporate treasury.  
• Marketing Strategies: Contribute to marketing campaigns and content creation (e.g. blog posts social media slide decks) to support awareness of Strategys Bitcoin efforts and advocacy. 
• Finance Activities: Support bitcoin related finance activities including Investor Relations new vendors evaluation and onboarding bitcoin market research and analytics.  

Qualifications :

• 1 year of experience in event management finance marketing or bitcoin education. Internships volunteer roles or project experience with Bitcoin or related industries are a plus. 
• Strong understanding of Bitcoin and strong network with Bitcoin community is preferred.  
• Exceptional communication (verbal and written) skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. 
• Ability to work cross-functionally to develop and execute various bitcoin initiatives. 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail. 
• Excel power point presentation and executive communication skills. 
• Proactive team-oriented and passionate about advancing Bitcoin adoption. 

Desired Skills: 

• Exposure to bitcoin advocacy bitcoin podcasts and bitcoin industry thought leadership content creation. 
• Experience with university or community Bitcoin initiatives content creation or events. Experience with managing large-scale conferences or industry events.  
• Familiarity with enterprise software or tech industries.
