Job Description
What will you be doing
As a Structural Engineer you will join our team in Bristol to support our activities within the Energy Sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Develop and assess reinforced concrete structures (RCC) for EPR nuclear power plants ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Carry out structural analysis and Finite Element modeling (FEM and FEA) using tools like ANSYS APDL adhering to Eurocode ETC-C and other regulations.
- Guarantee structural stability under various conditions including seismic activity dynamic forces construction sequences and environmental impacts.
- Produce detailed technical drawings specifications and construction documentation for implementation.
- Evaluate the structural impact of design modifications and recommend appropriate adjustments.
Who are we looking for
- Experience with Structural Civil Work RC detailing steel structures (ETT-C Eurocodes or similar)
- Proficiency in ANSYS SAP2000 APDL Robot or similar tools
- Understanding of Nuclear safety regulations & seismic analysis
- Experience working on large infrastructure projects.

Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering Mechanical Engineering Nuclear Engineering or related fields.
- Experience using ANSYS APDL
