Outcomes Connect Australia (OCA) expanded into Queensland from Victoria in 2024. We are excited to announce that the expansion means growth of our Queensland Behaviour Support team and we are now looking to recruit an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner living in Toowoomba (or close by) who will lead our new team of practitioners in the Toowoomba area.
The successful applicant will be required to work a minimum of 4 days/week.
As a Team Lead for Postive Behaviour Support you will be required to support and lead a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners to deliver evidence-based person-centred positive behaviour supports to OCA participaants in the community.
Your role will also entail...
- undertaking the support for your own reduced caseload of clients of all ages with exceptional evidence-based person-centred positive behaviour supports
- identifying providing input and implementing ongoing quality improvement opportunities for service delivery by OCA
- providing leadership that optimises individual potential and supports your team to thrive as practitioners whilst working collaboratively with the leadership group to optimise the quality of supports
- ensuring OCA provides a workplace that is safe healthy and respectful along with actively contributing to growing the culture of being a fun people-focused and stimulating place to work

About You
- Current Proficient or Advanced suitability as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
- Demonstration of alignment to the companys vision to deliver evidence-based outcome-focused supports which enable participants and their significant others to live their best lives
- Developed leadership skills
- Demonstrated commitment to being a team player
- Substantial experience in the provision of positive behaviour supports as recognised by the The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework
- Ability to demonstrate up-to-date evidence-based clinical skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement communication (written and verbal) and problem solving skills
- Commitment to continuing professional development

- Degree level qualifications of relevance to providing supports to people with behaviours of concern are highly preferred
