Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Waiter / Waitress to join our team in Baghdad Iraq. As a key member of our restaurant staff you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience.
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using appropriate point-of-sale systems
- Serve food and drinks with attention to detail and presentation
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues during busy periods
Qualifications :
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
