Job Description
IndependenceRealtyTrustiscurrentlyseekingaLogisticsCoordinatorfor its design team in Louisville KY. The Logistics Coordinator will manage projects from order creation to project completion and will be the point of contact for all orders as it flows from order placement to installation and closing out of a project. The interior design team is fast paced and requires excellent time management prioritization and multitasking skills. You will be responsible for managing all logistical operations while maintaining project timelines.

Responsibilities
- Managepurchasingoperationsrelatedtodesignmaterialordersfromprojecthandofffromthedesignteam
- Logisticsoperationsrelatedtodesignmaterialdeliverables
- Ensureaccuracyofvendoracknowledgements
- Producttracking-leadtimesshippingdeliveryreceivingdamageclaims
- Managelogisticscompaniesondeliveryandset-upofdesigninstalldates
- Manageprojectleadtimeandprojectschedulestoensuretimelydeliveryofabovesaiditems
- ReviewStatementsofWork(SOW)betweenIRTandlogisticcompanieswhichenablesupplierstobidandexecuteonthedeliveryofgoodsandservicesandexecutionofcontractsforneworexistingsuppliers
- CreateandupdatethedatabaseofcostschedulinganddeliveryofgoodsandserviceswithinandoutsideourERPsystem
- Uponprojectcloseoutrunanalyticsandprojectcostanalysis
- Manageandtrackallaccountinvoicesforprojects
- Completemonth-endaccountingforDesignSpendforeachproject
- Trackvendorspendandnegotiatepricingrealignmentperdesignspendthroughouttheyear
- DesignFF&Einventorymanagementateachlogisticpartnership
- Travel and manage the logistics partners during the install of renovation projects ensuring the goods and services are delivered and installed properly per IRT specifiations
Requirements
- 1-3yearsofexperienceinthedeliveryandmanagementofprocurementpurchasingstrategicsupplychain
- BachelorsDegreeinSupplyChainManagementBusinessAdministrationEconomicsorrelevantfield
- Abilitytodirectandmanagetheprocurementprocessusingbestinclassprocurementmethods
- Highdegreeofattentiontodetailrequired
- ExperienceusinganERPsystemand/orMRPsoftware
- Strongorganizationalanalyticalandproblem-solvingskills
- Abilitytobuildstrongrelationshipswithinternalandexternalstakeholders
- Excellentcommunicationpersuasionandnegotiationskills
- ProficientinMSOfficeSuiteApplications(WordExcelOutlookPP)SmartSheets
