Autism Support Assistant Waltham Forest London September 2025 Start

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support ASD students both in one-to-one and group settings adjusting the curriculum where needed.
  • Work closely with class teachers assisting in daily tasks and employing diverse teaching techniques to meet students individual needs.
  • Maintain a supportive engaging environment to foster advance learning and growth for ASD pupils.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree from a Top 20 UK university.
  • Strong academic background with excellent A-Level results.
  • A passion for working with SEN students particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Fantastic listening and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in child-centered roles ideally with ASD students is desirable.

Contract and Pay:

  • Full-time long-term role until July 2026 with a weekly rate of 444-513 (PAYE including holiday pay).
