Conduit Installers

Responsibilities

• Install conduit systems (EMT GRC) for electrical wiring according to specifications and blueprints.
• Must work extensively from a scissor lift to complete daily tasks.
• Measure cut thread bend and assemble conduit using hand and power tools (e.g. conduit benders pipe threaders) Secure conduit in position using brackets straps and PROVIDE YOUR OWN HAND TOOLS.
• Pull electrical wires through conduit systems when required.
• Coordinate with electricians and other trades to ensure proper routing and spacing.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work performed.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
• Identify and report potential issues or hazards to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA 10 required.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Proven experience as a conduit installer or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in conduit installation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong physical ability able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying conditions including extensive work from a scissor lift.
• Understanding of local electrical codes and construction safety regulations.
