Job Description

Job Description Summary

Provide excellent leadership skills to employees within the department by being a resource for questions concerns and comments.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Know and understand each role within the department.

  • Get outside department contacts involved when necessary (quality maintenance warehouse etc.)

  • Point of contact in department when Supervisor is unavailable.

  • Report any findings issues observations to the Supervisor.

  • Resolve any issues with Molding in regard to component parts.

  • Support system for employees

  • Attend Team Leader Training

  • Training new employees

  • Engineering point of contact for questions and/or trials

  • Supervises: Glue Dams Glass Cutters Balsa Netting Bushings.

Required Qualifications

  • Certification in Glass Carousel and Forklift.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors

  • Knowledge of the department area

  • Ability to communicate empathize resolve conflict patience and tolerance.

  • Ability to operate basic hand tools.

  • Ability to operate power tools.

  • Ability to operate heavy machinery.

  • Ability to lift of carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.

  • Ability to push/pull heavy objects.

Desired Characteristics

  • High School Diploma/GED or related experience.

  • Previous Manufacturing experience.

  • Previous manufacturing and leadership experience preferred.

Shift: 2pm-10:30pm
