YWCA Princeton is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Development Associate to support the organizations fundraising efforts with a strong focus on donor data management annual fund stewardship and development operations. The Development Associate plays a critical role in managing the donor database (Raisers Edge) maintaining accurate records and executing timely donor communications that strengthen relationships and ensure a high-quality donor experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Donor Database Management (Raisers Edge):
- Maintain and update donor records gifts and constituent information with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Process all donations generate timely acknowledgment letters and tax receipts.
- Develop reports and data exports for mailing lists fundraising analysis and performance metrics.
- Assist in data integrity projects including deduplication and data hygiene tasks.
- Serve as the internal point person for Raisers Edge ensuring best practices in data entry and usage.
Annual Fund and Donor Stewardship:
- Support the execution of the annual fund campaign including appeals email campaigns donor segmentation and gift tracking.
- Coordinate personalized stewardship efforts such as thank-you notes donor recognition and engagement touchpoints.
- Work closely with the Advancement team to develop and implement donor retention strategies.
- Assist with managing donor communications across platforms (print digital social media) to support fundraising goals.
Development Operations and Support:
- Assist with planning and execution of fundraising events including guest lists registration tracking and follow-up.
- Collaborate with finance to ensure gift entry and reporting are aligned with audit and reconciliation needs.
- Provide administrative support for the Advancement Department as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management fundraising communications or related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in development fundraising operations or donor services.
- Proficiency in Raisers Edge (or similar CRM database) required.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with digital fundraising platforms and email marketing tools.
