Job Description
Were on the search for a proven hands-on Operations Manager to lead construction operations for the Atlanta region. This is a field-facing leadership role for someone who can support technicians oversee project execution and maintain accountability across scheduling budgets and team performance.
This branch has had several recent turnover challenges and the role is a top priority. Youll work closely with leadership based out of Denver supporting local projects and mentoring junior staff. Candidates with experience in Alerton Delton Controls and Tridium/Niagara are highly preferred.
If youre a high-level field technician with some leadership background this could be your opportunity to step into a management role with training and support provided.
What Youll Do:
- Manage field operations across multiple automation/control system projects
- Oversee installation programming commissioning and customer turnover
- Provide direct mentorship to technicians and engineers
- Coordinate scheduling materials budgets and labor planning
- Own documentation accuracy project closeout and owner training
- Act as the point of contact for project coordination troubleshooting and quality control
- Support team performance reviews and contribute to hiring decisions
- Assist in collections and cross-functional coordination with other departments
What You Bring:
- 7 years in building automation controls or related mechanical/electrical systems
- Field experience with exposure to commissioning programming or project management
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead others by example
- Background with Alerton Delton Controls and Tridium/Niagara is a strong plus
- Ability to read blueprints understand control system theory and manage site teams
- Engineering degree or equivalent field-based experience
Benefits and Compensation:
- Pay: $90000 - $115000 based on experience
- Monday Friday schedule with flexibility as needed
- Local travel with occasional regional trips
