Job Description
Position: Adult Outpatient Therapist
Location: Taylor MI
Shift Type: Days
Shift Time: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Schedule may vary based on program needs)
Compensation:
- Full License: $54171- $73281 annually
- Limited License: $52026 - $68659.50 annually
Weekend & On-Call Requirements: As needed based on program requirements
Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Adult Outpatient Therapist to join our behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will hold a Masters degree in Social Work Psychology or Counseling and possess the corresponding licensure in the State of Michigan. This role focuses on providing high-quality mental health services to adult clients including intake assessments individual and group therapy and collaborative care coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical services to adult clients and families including intake evaluations and ongoing therapy.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans using Person-Centered Planning principles.
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists primary care physicians educational personnel and other community providers to support holistic care.
- Maintain all licensure requirements and adhere to contractual and agency standards.
- Participate in clinical supervision team meetings and case consultations.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with agency policies.
- Ensure ethical conduct and professional boundaries in all client interactions.
- Plan for effective client discharge and follow-up.
- Complete at least 24 hours of annual training in adult mental health and/or co-occurring substance use disorders.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work Psychology or Counseling
- State of Michigan licensure (Limited or Full license)
- Experience in behavioral health settings preferred
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
