Job Description

Job Description Summary

As a member of the Generator Commercial Operations team you will be an active contributor to achieve Generator Core Service order intake targets. This role will require you to develop proposals/bids for Generator core services deals participate in contract negotiation and to ensure compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop proposals for Generators Services deals including deals for Generator Spare Parts supply Generator Overhauls and Generator Repairs; May negotiate with customers; drive competitive pricing. Responsible for compiling and submitting required tender documentation.

  • May simultaneously work on proposals for multiple small projects with low/medium risks and resource requirements.

  • Ascertain risks and opportunities of the deal and workout the mitigation plan

  • Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.

  • Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area. Collaborates with others to solve issues.

  • This will mainly be individual contributor role.

  • A job at this level requires strong interpersonal skills. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Basic Qualifications(requirements):

Engineering degree from an accredited university or college.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong service mindset with foundations of empathy with customers spirit of collaboration with peers agility and passion to take positive stretch for customers growth mindset and value selling skills.

  • Strong motivation to apply Lean principles to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
