Job Description

About the Role:
We are seeking a Highways Operative to join our team on our Highways workstream. You will be working closely with a HGV Highways Operative to clean along the highways.
- Location: Manchester
- Hours: 50 hours per week (Monday to Friday 6am-4pm day shift however flexibility is required if night shifts need to be covered
- Salary: Up to 35698 dependent on experience
- Weekly Pay
Responsibilities:
- Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages leaks or damage that could hinder water flow.
- Use the high-powered suction equipment to remove debris silt leaves and waste from gullies.
- Work closely with our Traffic Management department planning routes along the highways
- Maintain and operate the vehicles associated machinery including pumps hoses and suction equipment.
- Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry purposes
- Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high-powered suction equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
Requirements for the role:
- Competent in IT accurate data entry
- Team player
- Positive can-do attitude
*Full training required or a level of competency in the following: Jetting/SLG/First Aid/Manual Handling/Confined Spaces.*
