JOB DESCRIPTION
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct in vitro functional and phenotypic analysis of tumor cells macrophages and immune cells in the context of cancer using primary cells and cell lines in 3D cultures.
- Investigate biomarker expression in human samples employing techniques such as immunohistochemistry immunofluorescence or RT-PCR-Sequencing.4. Additional Responsibilities:-Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the research field through literature review.-Analyze and interpret experimental data contributing to manuscript preparation.-Actively participate in laboratory meetings IGTP seminars and national or international conferences.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE
- BSc degree in biological or biomedical science (BSc qualification >9)
- Applicants must demonstrate an advanced level of English language (spoken and written).
- Previous experience with 3D cell cultures real-time PCR microscopy and image analysis
- Background knowledge in immunology cancer and/or cancer immunology
- Hands-on research experience in national/international laboratories
- Proven ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly and concisely and to work collaboratively within a research team.
- Strong ability to manage responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Organizational proactive and self-motivated attitude.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Temporary 6 month contract.
- Date of incorporation: 01/07/2025
- Gross annual remuneration inherent to the square objected to this call will be fixed based on the experience provided and the skills of the candidate distributed in 12 payments.

The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is a public research centre located in Badalona. Its main objective is to increase scientific knowledge in order to transform it into solutions to improve the health and medical care of patients and the community.
The Institute is associated with one of the major university hospitals in the Barcelona area the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital and is part of the Can Ruti biomedical campus. IGTP is a CERCA centre and is also accredited as a centre of excellence by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) and is in charge of coordinating the management and scientific strategy of the campus working in close collaboration with the other centres.
