- Install and service Building Automation and Control Systems
- Perform end-to-end system checks startup and commissioning
- Troubleshoot and repair DDC HVAC and lighting control systems
- Read and interpret control drawings electrical and mechanical plans
- Work with low-voltage wiring sensors actuators and control panels
- Coordinate with contractors and internal teams on site
- Provide preventive maintenance and customer training
- Maintain accurate records of work time materials and costs
- Travel locally as needed including occasional overtime or weekends
Background Profile
- 510 years of experience in building automation controls or related fields
- Knowledge of BAS/BMS/DDC/HVAC systems
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Familiarity with Ethernet RS485 BACnet and LON networks
- Experience with Windows OS Microsoft Office and basic networking
- Able to work independently and communicate clearly with customers
- Valid drivers license and ability to get security clearance (no criminal record or DUI)
- Experience with platforms like Siemens Talon Smart 2 AX N4 or PPCL is a plus
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Tridium AX N4) are a plus
Education
- High school diploma plus a 4-year vocational program or equivalent work experience
- Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field preferred
- Professional certifications are a bonus
