Position Details:
Job Role: Purchase Manager
Experience Required : 10-12 Years in purchase of Raw Material for pharmaceutical industries ( API ) from domestic and import from other countries. Also R & D related small quantity raw material import from China & other country.
Qualification: BSc/MSc Chemistry
Location : Vadodara Gujarat
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage all purchasing activities ensuring the acquisition of goods and services meets the companys quality and cost expectations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to foster mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers optimizing cost-effectiveness while ensuring quality standards are upheld.
- Coordinate with internal teams and departments to understand procurement needs and align purchasing strategies accordingly.
- Utilize APIs and other technology tools to streamline procurement processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor market trends to forecast demand manage inventory levels and adjust purchasing strategies proactively.
- Lead and mentor the purchasing team to ensure their ongoing development and alignment with company objectives.
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities costs and performances to senior management providing insights for strategic decision-making.
