About the opportunity
Y Victoria is currently seeking a permanent Coordinator for our Before and After School Care service at Holy Rosary Primary School Bendigo. This is a permanent part-time position with ample administration time during the day.
The hourly rate for the position is between $34 - $41 p/hour (depending on your qualification) 11.5% super.
OSHC Coordinators are responsible for:
- Overseeing the daily operations and strategic development and growth of the program;
- Working with the Regional OSHC Coordinator to identify and respond to service improvement opportunities;
- Creating a positive relationship with the school families local community groups and contract partners;
- Managing a team of educators who support you in operating a high quality and fun Outside of School Hours Care program

What do you need
- Youll need to have either completed or be working towards a Diploma or tertiary-level qualification as determined by ACECQA (see the link below)
- Youll need to have or be willing to obtain a First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent)
- Youll need to have or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Childrens Check employee check
- Youll need to have or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor certificate within the first month of your employment
There are a variety of qualifications that ACECQA has approved to work within OSHC ranging from education to community services to healthcare.
