Are you a hands-on technician with a passion for problem-solving and building client relationships Were recruiting on behalf of a global engineering leader with a strong presence in Australia known for their innovative solutions across hydropower pulp and paper industrial separation steel production and biomass processing.
They are now looking to appoint a skilled and proactive Service Technician to join their growing Melbourne-based team.
About the Role:
This dynamic role will see you working across both workshop and field environments supporting key clients across a variety of industrial sectors. Youll play a vital part in delivering technical services driving client satisfaction and supporting commercial outcomes through your expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform service maintenance and troubleshooting of high-speed rotating industrial equipment
- Overhaul repair and reassemble equipment such as decanter centrifuges
- Supervise on-site service activities and ensure safe work practices
- Diagnose issues identify solutions and prepare detailed service reports
- Support the sales team with technical advice and customer insights
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients identifying future service needs
What Were Looking For:
- Trade qualification or engineering diploma (Australian-recognised)
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working with industrial equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Confident working autonomously and safely in workshop environments
- Willing to travel within Australia (up to 40%) and occasionally work after hours
- Current drivers licence
