Job Description
Procurement Representative
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized detail-oriented and skilled in sourcing negotiating and managing vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement activities from sourcing to delivery
Review and analyze vendor quotes and make recommendations
Negotiate pricing terms and delivery schedules with suppliers
Implement cost-saving strategies
Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams
Resolve vendor issues and support contract negotiations
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance
2 years of proven experience in procurement
Experience with SAP and/or Ariba systems
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Must be residing in Puerto Rico
Preferred Traits:
Experience working on large capital projects
Familiarity with supply chain and fabrication processes
Motivated reliable and results-driven
Fast learner with a dynamic personality
Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
