Job Description

The Operations Building Manager is required to manage and supervise custodians and custodial operations activities at campus buildings and adjacent surroundings as assigned primarily responsible for:

1. ATC TASSELL SPECTRUM THEATER LAKESHORE. ATC Parking Ramp (TOTAL 444443) 20 employees

May also need to provide occasional coverage for:

2. CALKINS SCIENCE BUILDING FORD FIELD HOUSE FACILITIES CAMPUS POLICE DEVOS CAMPUS Parking Ramp C (TOTAL SQ. FT 590176) 16 employees

3. LRCPRESCHOOL MUSIC STUDENT CENTER Parking Ramp A&B (TOTAL .) 10 employees

4. RJF COOK HALL COLLEGE PARK PLAZA BOSTWICK COMMONS PLAZA RAMP COOK HALL RAMP (TOTAL 469 478) 15 employees

The Building Manager interfaces with faculty staff and students. In addition the Manager monitors and orders supplies arranges for room set-up and covers special events entryway and sidewalk snow removal etc. and other duties assigned by the Associate Director of Facilities Operations.

By accepting these responsibilities the manager is making sure all buildings and adjacent ground areas are ready for day to day business. When these responsibilities are carried out all patrons (staff students public ) will have an enjoyable experience and will feel comfortable safe and happy with their trip to and into these buildings.
