This is a temporary position.

The Marriott Mobile Product team leads design development and innovation on the highly-rated Bonvoy iOS and Android apps used by millions of Marriott customers booking business and leisure stays across 8000 hotels and 30 brands. We are seeking a mobile product manager to lead data-driven personalization and commerce capabilities. Reporting to the Director of Digital Loyalty Product the Product Manager will play a key role in maturing Marriotts mobile loyalty experience in support of advancing the Companys goal of becoming the worlds favorite travel company.

In support of Marriotts overall mobile growth strategy this role will partner with key product design and engineering leaders across the organization to define and own the roadmap for unique growth experiences in the mobile app. This role will develop and execute a data and user-driven strategy for providing our customers a best-in-class digital loyalty experience. Additionally the PM will lead a cross-functional agile product team to activate against each aspect of that roadmap and strategy.

The person in this role will be comfortable leading and managing communication across the broader organization for all aspects of the mobile roadmap that pertain to these unique capabilities and experiences. An ideal candidate will be a true data-driven digital product manager who relentlessly pushes to understand customer needs balance user value with business value and continually partner and prioritize in a complex and fast-paced environment. This person will be able to navigate both strategic and tactical business design and engineering challenges seamlessly and will serve as a key partner across the broader Marriott organization with a diverse set of internal stakeholders.

A successful candidate will bring experience in mobile product management as well as demonstrated successful delivery in an enterprise setting. Additionally an ideal candidate will have an understanding of direct to consumer digital and mobile products personalization a global growth mindset a collaborative team spirit and a passion for delivering amazing mobile experiences that consumers love.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a hybrid agile team including offshore developers to deliver Android-native loyalty features while ensuring seamless coordination across time zones and alignment with Marriotts broader digital and loyalty strategies.
  • Own and evolve the Android mobile app experience for loyalty members driving feature innovation and iteration aligned to core loyalty goals
  • Develop a compelling roadmap for in-app loyalty engagement informed by member feedback app behavior analytics and business priorities.
  • Collaborate across internal teams (loyalty marketing personalization engineering analytics) to connect loyalty functionality to broader digital strategies.
  • Act as the champion for Android platform best practices ensuring experiences meet platform guidelines and deliver high-quality interactions at scale.

Candidate Profile

Required:

  • 2 years of digital product management experience.
  • 2 years of experience with delivering digital products
  • Direct experience working with cross-functional agile product teams ideally in a global or scaled enterprise setting.
  • Proven ability to leverage data and user research to drive feature development and iteration.
  • Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead through influence and collaborate across functions.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred:

  • 1 years specifically working with mobile applications
  • Experience managing the end-to-end delivery of features from ideation UX engineering & delivery.
  • Experience working with mobile analytics platforms (e.g. Adobe Analytics) to measure and optimize app experiences.
  • Experience in hospitality travel or other industries with loyalty-driven engagement models.
  • Comfort working in scaled agile environments (e.g. SAFe).

The pay range for this position is $44.90 to $72.88 per hour.
