Career and Self-Development: After being instructed on the technical aspects of the job the student employee should take the initiative to learn a wider depth of knowledge about the technology being utilized or learn about other desired technical positions. Gannon students only. Assists the Director of Athletics for Media Relations (Sports Information Office) with game operations/management for the Universitys NCAA Division II athletics program. The position will be responsible for game management that includes but is not limited to the PSAC Network webcasts technical direction webcast camera work video recording for highlights scoreboard operation play clock operation statistical input game music director video board operation and media assistance. Additionally the position will work to ensure compliance with NCAA PSAC and Title IX requirements relative to athletic communications. Must be able to support and promote the Universitys Mission. Availability to work nights and weekends is a must.
Physical Demands
1. Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain snow cold sun etc.). 2. Must be able to climb stairs and bleachers steps. 3. Must have no fear of heights. 4. Must be able to stand for two to three hours. 5. Must be willing to learn about new sports.
