This Quality Engineer II position will provide direct site support to all aspects of quality assurance for a site that is relocating from Hampton NH to Durham NH in 2024-2025. This role will be flexible in daily activities required to support customer audits regulatory compliance adherence to industry specifications. This individual will join a small site of 120 employees that is looking to expand their production capabilities and throughput 50%-100% over the next 5 years.

What You Will Do

  • Reviews Customer Quality/industry specification requirements and ensure product compliance and controls are adequately flowed down and maintained in the production environment.
  • Develops modifies applies and maintains quality evaluation control systems and protocols for materials being processed into partially finished or finished products.
  • Working with product design and specification devises testing plans methods and equipment to assure reliability of product Collaborates internally to ensure quality standards are in effect.
  • Identifies and manages risk in product development primarily utilizing and driving PPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA MSA Process Flow and Control Plans etc.).
  • Performs Escape management procedures root cause analysis and recommends corrective action for design problems for internally produced products & processes. Ensures all requirements are met for work transfer and process change management including Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance.
  • Responsible for Program and Production Quality Engineering and the development of new inspections methodologies to assure product conformance.
  • First Article Inspection creation and review per AS9102.
  • Quality Clinic and Material Review Board participation and certification support.
