Job Summary:
As a Barista at Alexandria Events youll be the face of our coffee service responsible for preparing high-quality beverages while delivering warm personalized service. Youll work closely with our culinary and events teams to support daily operations as well as high-profile gatherings.
Day-to-Day/Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages teas and other caf items to exacting standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and service areas.
- Engage warmly with guests ensuring a positive and efficient experience.
- Assist in restocking supplies monitoring inventory and following all sanitation procedures.
- Collaborate with culinary and front-of-house staff to support seamless event execution.
- Contribute to seasonal beverage menu development and provide feedback based on guest preferences.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
About You:
- Previous barista experience required (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable punctual and a team player.
- Flexible availability including mornings weekends and occasional evenings for events.
- Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
