Bell Textron Canada ltd (BTCL) is looking for new talented individuals to join their team that are excited to support our Canadian troops through excellence in service support and thrilling our customer with innovative approaches to their vertical lift experiences. The CH146 is Canadas largest helicopter fleet their most deployed asset and it is used in multiple roles across the country. Our team is integrated within the military Weapons System Management office and within Search and rescue Tactical Combat Support and Special Forces Operations. Summary of job description

The Canadian Government program team is currently looking for an Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Analyst. In support of the above-mentioned mandate in liaison with the team and subject matter experts within BTCL and the CH146 WSM organization and using the applicable documents and standards the ILS analyst must conduct various ILS activities including but not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate and review ILS sub-contractor deliverables and reports to ensure they are complete accurate and meet to initial requirement.
  • Coordinate activities related to the introduction of new Ground support Equipment and associated software including the HUMS System.
  • Coordinate activities related to the development of the gap training between CH146 Legacy and MKII.
  • Support the Annual CH146 System Obsolescence review and Annual CH146 Obsolescence Working Group.
  • Coordinate flow of ILS data throughout BTCL the National Defense Headquarters (NDHQ) and sub-contractors when appropriate and records ILS related decision and implementation plan in the centralized ILS database.
  • Conduct Technical Investigation and proposed corrective measure/ follow up of corrective actions.
  • This position requires communication in English with Bell teams outside Quebec and/or its suppliers partners and customers outside Quebec.

Minimum required qualifications

  • Bachelor or college degree in aerospace or related fields with a technical experience deemed equivalent.
  • More than four (4) years of experience in conduct of various ILS activities in the context of a Military in Service Support contract such as Sparing Analysis Reliability/Maintainability and reparability analysis Preventive Maintenance evaluation Design Change Impact Analysis technical publication and/or configuration management activities.
  • Strong ability in interpreting technical documentation such as Drawings Specification Standards is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to make presentations to Senior Management and customers.
  • Functional knowledge of French & English is essential.

Any other combination of schooling and experience deemed equivalent may be considered.

SECURITY CLEARANCE
The candidate must obtain and maintain a NATO Secret security clearance issued by the Industrial Security Program of Public Services and Supply Canada and BTCL security officers.

Sommaire des responsabilits

Lanalyste soutien logistique intgr (SLI) travaillera en troite collaboration avec lquipe et les experts en la matire au sein de BTCL et de lorganisation CH146 WSM. En utilisant les documents et les normes applicables lanalyste SLI sera responsable de mener diverses activits SLI y compris mais sans sy limiter les tches suivantes :

  • Coordonner et examiner les livrables et rapports des sous-traitants du SLIpour garantir leur compltude exactitude et conformit aux exigences initiales.
  • Planifier et suivre les activits lies lintroduction de nouveaux quipements de support la maintenance y compris le dveloppement du logiciel HUMS Ground Station.
  • Planifier et suivre les activits lies au dveloppement de la formationsur les diffrences entre le CH146 Legacy et le MKII.
  • Soutenir lexamen annuel de lobsolescence du systme CH146et le groupe de travail annuel sur lobsolescence du systme CH146.
  • Coordonner le flux de donnes SLIau sein de BTCL du quartier gnral de la dfense nationale et des sous-traitants le cas chant et enregistrer les dcisions relatives au SLI ainsi que le plan de mise en uvre dans la base de donnes SLI centralise.
  • Mener des enqutes techniques et proposer des mesures/actions correctives puis assurer le suivi de ces actions correctives.

Exigences du poste / Qualifications

  • Diplme collgial ou universitaire en arospatiale ou dans un domaine connexe avec une exprience technique juge quivalente.
  • Plus de quatre (4) ans dexprience dans la conduite de diverses activits ILS dans le cadre dun contrat de soutien militaire en service telles que lanalyse dconomie lanalyse de fiabilit/maintenabilit et de rparabilit lvaluation de la maintenance prventive lanalyse de limpact des modifications de conception la publication technique et/ou les activits de gestion de la configuration.
  • Une grande capacit interprter la documentation technique telle que les dessins les spcifications et les normes est requise.
  • Solides comptences organisationnelles et excellentes aptitudes la communication avec une capacit dmontre faire des prsentations des cadres suprieurs et des clients.
  • Une connaissance fonctionnelle du franais et de langlais est essentielle.
  • Ce poste ncessite des communications en anglais avec les quipes de Bell hors Qubec et/ou ses fournisseurs partenaires et clients hors Qubec.
