What you will be doing as an A & P Mechanic:

You can expect to conduct thorough inspections maintenance modifications and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited no):

  • Mechanical Duties: Perform a variety of mechanical tasks on various aircraft models including diagnosing malfunctions disassembly rework repair replacement reassembly and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery
  • Engine and Airframe Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting inspection and repair of turbine engines including engine run-ups. Carry out airframe system and component changes systems checkout and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines
  • Use of Tools and Equipment: Utilize equipment such as tensiometers micrometers pressure gauges dial gauges vacuum gauges timing lights and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies

What you need to be successful:

  • High school education GED or a bonze level WorkKeys certification
  • A&P License is
  • Knowledge of 100-hour annual and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is .
  • Experience with diversified jet turboprop piston modification aircraft/flight maintenance
  • A minimum of 3 years experience with diversified jet turboprop piston modification aircraft/flight maintenance
