Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health servicesto thePennsylvania Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full time Psychiatric Nurse Practitionerto join our team at the State Correctional Institution-Muncy located in Muncy Pennsylvania. This position is full-time on-site for 32 hours/week.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment diagnosis and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.
Qualifications
- ANCC or AANP Psychiatric Certified Nurse Practitioner with active unrestricted Pennsylvania CRNP medical license & DEA (or ability to obtain)
- Completion of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program
- At least 1 year of prescribing experience preferred
- All qualified applicants are required to successfully complete a security clearance process as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections
