Were recruiting for anEmpty Homes Supervisor contractually based out of our Portsmouth office covering the South Hampshire area. This is afull time permanent role working37 hoursper week. Your time will be split between working in the office spending time out on-site with your trade team and allows for hybrid home working. A minimum of 20% of your time will be office based to promote collaboration between colleagues across the business.

Heres the facts about the role:

As an Empty Homes Supervisor youll line managea team of multi-disciplinedtrades staff making sure they deliver a first-class value for money repairsandmaintenance ensurethatall works carried outare completed toa high standardand withinagreed servicelevelagreements(SLAs).Youll do this by regular work in progress and post-work inspections and will conduct regular 1-1s/90-day reviews for yourteam making sure any training needs are identifiedandthat they remain fully skilled to carry out their roles.

With your focus on delivering a great customer experience youllwork with your team to ensure an exceptional level of quality assurance is provided. But when on the occasions where complaints are made a full investigation is carried out to resolve matters quickly. Youll be tasked with making sure the right action is taken to reduce complaints in future the quality of the works improves and customer satisfaction increases. Youll also beresponsible for making sure that all works are carried out in line with best value taking full responsibilityfor thecosts within your team.

Youll havea strong technical backgroundof providing a maintenance and repairs service within a supervisory/senior position. Its necessary to have an existing knowledge and experience of property construction and problem diagnosing / resolving. Youll be a strong leaderwith a track record of successfully managing a team. Andwill be a confident communicator who remains professional and calm under pressure. To succeed In this role youllbe results driventomeet/exceedtargetsandcontinually seek to improve our service.

Offers are subject to a full clean current UK driving licence (held for at least 1 year) to be able to drive one of our vans. Youll work from our various locations sites and properties with a good chunkof your time out on-site visiting properties and your trades.

Offers are subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
