Mass Torts Attorney
Career Consulting Partners has partnered with one of the top injury plaintiff firms in the country. They are nationally recognized for their work in class actions mass torts and complex civil litigation.
We are seeking a litigation associate with 24 years of experience to join our mass tort and class action practice. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in high-impact litigation from day one. Candidates should have strong litigation skills and a demonstrated interest in complex civil litigation. Defense-side attorneys with relevant experience are encouraged to applyparticularly those interested in transitioning to plaintiff-side work.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Manage case activity in California state and federal courts including:
- Drafting and filing complaints motions and other pleadings
- Handling discovery and communicating with opposing counsel
- Preparing for and attending hearings depositions and mediations
- Coordinate with co-counsel and participate in multi-district or coordinated proceedings
- Work closely with clients and experts in developing litigation strategy
- Assist with settlement discussions and implementation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Juris Doctorate and active CA State Bar membership are required.
- 2-4 years of litigation experience in mass torts or class action in California
- Familiarity with court procedures filing systems and judge preferences in LA and surrounding counties
- Strong legal research writing and communication skills
- Experience with mass torts product liability or class actions is highly desirable
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Compensation: $130000 - $160000
- Plus Commission Pay/Attorney Fees
