Tasks
- Detail: Focused on enhancing product development through improved observability and DevOps processes.
- Take ownership from day one and analyze existing services.
- Make configuration changes independently to optimize services.
- Ensure alignment with the service rulebook to adhere to best practices.
- Support end-to-end testing efforts.
- Provide mentoring to enhance the teams observability maturity.
Requirements
- Java: Essential for backend development ensuring the capability to maintain and enhance services.
- DevOps Knowledge: Critical for efficiently managing the deployment and integration processes directly impacting service reliability.
- Datadog Expertise: Necessary for the successful migration to observability tools contributing to better monitoring and alerting.
- Independence and Initiative: Allows for quick adaptations and necessary configurations streamlining workflows from day one.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Location in Portugal and willingness to work from the office.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with environment policies and compliance regulations.
- Prior mentorship or leadership experience within a team setting.
