Partner Staffing on behalf of our Client we are seeking a seasoned Municipal Linear Infrastructure Manager to lead and oversee the planning design procurement and construction of linear civil infrastructure projects with a focus on underground utilities and stormwater facilities. This role is pivotal in managing multi-disciplinary teams and delivering high-quality engineering solutions in alignment with municipal standards and sustainability goals.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of complex municipal infrastructure projects involving water sanitary and stormwater systems.
- Manage the planning and execution of underground utility networks including pipe alignments trenchless installations and coordination with surface works.
- Oversee the design and construction of stormwater storage facilities such as dry ponds wet ponds and underground detention systems.
- Supervise and mentor a team of engineers technologists and project coordinators.
- Ensure projects are completed on time within scope and within budget while meeting or exceeding quality and safety standards.
- Liaise with municipal clients regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure project compliance and alignment with strategic infrastructure goals.
- Support procurement activities including tender preparation bid evaluations and contract administration.
- Provide technical oversight for engineering reports construction documents and cost estimates.
- Champion innovation and sustainability in infrastructure planning and design.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (.) with APEGA or eligible for registration.
- 10 years of progressive experience in municipal infrastructure projects including significant leadership experience.
- Proven expertise in underground pipe design stormwater management systems and construction oversight.
- Strong knowledge of municipal standards permitting processes and contract administration in Alberta.
- Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D stormwater modeling software (e.g. SWMM PCSWMM) and project management tools.
