Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Service Engineer to join our team in Boston United States. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining troubleshooting and repairing various industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

  • Perform preventive maintenance diagnostics and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment
  • Conduct regular inspections and identify potential issues before they become critical
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical electrical and electronic systems
  • Analyze equipment performance data and recommend improvements
  • Respond promptly to service calls and provide efficient on-site support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and parts usage
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies relevant to the field

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or related field)
  • 3 years of experience in a similar service engineering role
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Familiarity with industrial machinery and equipment
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs
  • Understanding of industry safety standards and regulations
  • Knowledge of quality control processes
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g. CMRP CEM) preferred
  • Willingness to travel within the Boston area as needed
  • Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends
