QUALIFICATIONS: Appropriate SC credentials at the Masters degree or higher level plus 3 years of experience in a school building and/or as a Testing Coordinator. Alternatives to the above qualifications may be acceptable. Administration degree preferred.
REPORTS TO: Principal
JOB GOAL: To provide appropriate support for the schools in administering the state testing program and using the results appropriately to facilitate teaching and learning; to monitor the requirements of the state accountability system to maintain compliance.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
the school testing program including planning coordinating problem-solving and ensuring compliance.
2. Responsible for training teachers and staff on test administration procedures and compliance including proctoring monitoring and technology support.
3. Responsible for coordinating testing or students with other school districts.
4. Responsible for ensuring students are tested for SCREADY tests End of Course (EOC) tests and other tests required for middle and high school students.
5. Works with instructional staff to analyze test results and other data for program improvement.
6. Monitors school progress in meeting accountability goals.
7. Assists in planning and monitoring for data reporting.
8. Uses a variety of technological formats to access information organize data and present material for school discussions.
9. Works with teachers staff and other districts consistently in a cooperative and respectful manner.
10. Responsible for issuing and collecting computers for all programs.
11. Responsible for assessing technology issues coordinating computer repair and providing support to teachers and staff. Training is available.
12. Performs all other duties and responsibilities as designated by the Principal.
TERMS: 205 days; Salary to be established by the Board EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in compliance with the Boards policy on evaluation and professional personnel.
