Job Description
We are searching for an experienced and passionate Android Developer to join our Romanian team (mostly Cluj-based) and contribute to an exciting IoT project - German customer.
- Take technical ownership of Android development within the team.
- Collaborate closely with the Mobile Architect to ensure high-quality architecture and design.
- Lead and mentor team members providing guidance on best practices and clean code principles.
- Contribute to planning development testing and delivery of Android mobile apps.
- Help shape and maintain coding standards tools and development workflows.
Qualifications :
- Strong experience (7-10 years) in native Android development (Kotlin/Java).
- Solid understanding of Android SDK architectural patterns (MVVM Clean Architecture) and dependency injection frameworks.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and Bluetooth/IoT integrations is a plus.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team.
- English proficiency both written and spoken.
Nice to have:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins Bitrise or GitHub Actions.
- Exposure to cross-platform development (e.g. Flutter or React Native).
- Previous work on IoT or smart home applications.
Additional Information :
You will be part of a dedicated Nagarro team responsible for developing multiple mobile applications for an IoT platform. The team is led by a Nagarro Mobile Architect and currently includes 5 talented members working in a SCRUM-based agile environment.
