Job Description
FLINT is seeking Journeyperson Rig Welders with 5 years of experience for a temporary role in Port Moody BC starting June 9. In this position you will enjoy a Mon- Fri schedule 10-hour workdays and benefits after 300 hours worked. The Hourly rate for this position is $105/hr.
This position does not include camp accommodations living out allowance or travel allowance. Therefore it is best suited for local candidates; however those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years experience in Oil and Gas.
- Valid Journeyperson Welder certificate/ticket.
- Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
- CSTS-2020
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- WHMIS
- Possess the mandatory welding tickets:
- B-Pressure
- Class-A
- CWB
- FCAW/MCAW
- Must have a fully equipped welding truck with valid registration and insurance.
- Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
- Proficient in English both written and verbal communication required.
Additional Information :
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
