What will you be doing
- Analysing customer data
- Perform life calculations to assess suitability of products
- Communicate with Design where new motor variants are required
- Make recommendations for improvements
- Product life calculations within specified parameters
- Supporting assisting and liaising with project managers.
- Timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks
- Enable increased speed of technical enquiries
- Creation modification and maintenance of documents
- Develop improved calculations
- Make suggestions for improving departmental processes
- Assist with engineering changes and Sales Requests
- Co-ordination of Continuous Improvement Process (CIP).
- Review new and revised centrally issued documents and determine any actions that would be required to comply.
Qualifications :
What are we looking for
- Currently studying for a Bachelor or Masters in mechanical engineering or similar
- Enjoyment in problem solving and researching solutions for challenging problems
- Analytical capabilities
- Able to demonstrate initiative and strong organisational skills
- Worked as part of a project team and solving problems as a team
- Demonstrable experience with intermediate and advanced excel tools and functions
- Experience with Matlab or Mathcad
- Understanding of fluid dynamics and hydraulics
- Skills in Microsoft Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint
