Retail Junior Consultant

As a Retail Junior Consultant you will play a key role in the core business of NielsenIQ servicing our Tech and Durable (T&D) retail partners. Our services are the reason clients continue to invest in our products and trust us as their partner for data-driven insights across a range of sectors including Electronics Garden DIY and more.

Were looking for someone who combines strong analytical skills with commercial flair to strengthen our team. Youll report to the Retail Customer Success Manager and work closely with a group of experienced colleagues.

What you will do:

• Proactively identify and address data issues maintaining a critical mindset to ensure data integrity and taking appropriate action when inconsistencies arise.
• Analyze and interpret sales and consumer data turning insights into clear charts graphs and visual reports.
• Build compelling storylineswhether for category overviews or issue-based analysesdevelop presentations draw conclusions and make recommendations (end-to-end process).
• Deliver final presentations and confidently present insights and recommendations to clients.
• Act as the first point of contact for your retail partners addressing their data-related questions and requests.
• Take the lead in rolling out Newron our new reporting tool.

What we ask:

• A Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Economics or a related field
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French with strong English communication skills
• Advanced analytical and visual storytelling skills
• Good relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a talent for listeningtruly understanding client needs and translating them into actionable insights using NielsenIQs data.
• Experience in T&D/retail is a plus but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and other Office 365 tools
