Under the direction of the MAC Tech Lead and Facilities Manager The MAC Technician will perform a variety of work in the installation breakdown and/or relocation of office partitions and furniture. Position requires current Texas drivers license.Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
.
- Pay: $18.50.
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday (6:00am-4:00pm) Friday (6:00am-10:00am).
- Assembles and installs modular office furniture and wall partitions.
- Install or relocate office furniture.
- Performs set-ups and breakdowns of tables and chairs for special events.
- Hang bulletin boards writing boards and pictures.
- Process all work order requests in a timely manner.
- Lift and carry 50lbs without assistance and carry to 10 feet.
- Read drawings and work from plans and specifications.
- Proficient use of a variety of tools and machines used in the basic trades.
- Understand and follow oral and written directions.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Meet schedules and timelines.
- Ability to effectively communicate and respond to customer needs.
- Move materials around the facility using a company provided vehicle.
- Must be able to take direction to work with minimal supervision and to function cooperatively as part of a team.
- Requires attention to details a pride in delivering excellent customer services good organization and high levels of energy and endurance.
- May assist with other Facilities related functions.
- Assist with installation of IT equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Three to five years experience as a furniture installer in a commercial setting.
- Familiar with furniture building and installation.
- Experience with cubicle configuration build and demo.
- Ability to effectively communicate and respond to customer needs.
- Must be able to take direction to work with minimal supervision and to function cooperatively as part of a team.
- Requires attention to details a pride in delivering excellent customer services good organization and high levels of energy and endurance.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience.
