Job Description
The Emily G. Wetherbee School is seeking a Kindergarten teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate possesses a belief that all students are capable of learning. Experience with co-teaching and inclusion practices including collaborative planning are recommended. Teacher responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Teaching core content classes in a self-contained classroom/homeroom: ELA (CKLA) Mathematics Science and Social Studies-Participating in the Warrior S.T.R.O.N.G. schoolwide positive behavior support protocols -Participating in grade-level and content vertical planning meetings -Attending IEP 504 student support and team meetings -Participating in curriculum night report card night(s) and family engagement opportunities-Establishing and maintaining grade-level paraprofessional collaboration in the classroom
