Job Description
Infosys is seeking a Technology Lead with experience in Python and AWS. The role holder will be a key player working in an agile environment delivering technical expertise in design development coding unit testing and debugging new software or significant enhancements to existing software. He demonstrates broad knowledge of highly complex business processes conducts highly complex business process analysis assessments and leads/participates in design sessions with Architects in order to align digital solutions with business initiatives.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston TXor be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and or travel to project locations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python 3.x and Python frameworks (AND / OR) J2EE full stack development
- experience with key AWS services like Compute: Lambda ECS Storage: S3
- Experience in Databases: DynamoDB Snowflake
Preferred skills and experiences:
- Networking: VPC 53 CloudFront API Gateway
- DevOps/CI-CD: CloudFormation CDK
- Security: IAM KMS Secrets Manager
- Monitoring: CloudWatch X-Ray CloudTrail
- NoSQL Database like Cassandra PostGreSQL
- Designing and implementing distributed systems and microservices
- Experience with REST APIs and/or GraphQL
- Caching strategies using Redis Memcached or similar
- Scalability high availability and fault tolerance best practices
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers
- Comfortable working in agile teams with modern development practices
- Experience with data engineering tools or ML platforms (e.g. Pandas Airflow SageMaker)
- Familiarity with other programming languages (e.g. Go TypeScript)
- AWS certification
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
