Job Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Solutions Architect with strong software engineering skills and a passion for architecting building and developing tooling and solutions to show customers the art of the possible. You will be part of an agile team of innovative practitioners who are obsessed with understanding the needs of our customers and our partners as they build workloads on AWS. The ideal candidate should have the skills to partner with customers partners and internal stakeholders to experiment with new ideas that can help customers measure their adherence to AWS-recommended best practices and balance architectural trade-offs with business priorities and goals.
In this role you will use your software development skills to develop prototypes using Machine Learning Deep Learning Generative IA and Serverless Architectures. You will apply software engineering best practices that ensures the prototypes provide a foundation to production solutions. We will provide a creative environment where high judgement failure is embraced so you can move fast without compromising on research time that is required to experiment with new ideas.

AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Key job responsibilities
- Architect develop test and implement tooling that helps customers measure their workloads against best practice drives them to make informed architectural trade-offs and highlights key areas to help them be successful.
- Research and employ up-to-date technological developments in customer engagements.
- Drive the AWS platform by aligning customer requirements with AWS service teams roadmaps.
- This role will focus on investing in the long term success of customers using foundations and best practices from AWS Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework AWS for research development and innovation.
- Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white-papers tutorials blogs workshops etc.
- Position requires travel generally up to 25%.

- 4 years of design implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204300/year in our highest geographic market.
