About the Cornell Law School

Founded in 1887 Cornell Law School is a top-tier law school. We offer a 3-year JD program for about 200 students per class a one-year LLM program for about 120 students from countries throughout the world and a doctoral (JSD) program for about 2-3 new students per year. About the Office or Unit

The Legal Information Institute at Cornell Law School is responsible for the worlds first source for free legal information online. Each year we welcome tens of millions of visitors from around the world who want to find and understand US law. Our small team builds fast-loading usable reliable applications that bring American law to people from all walks of life - lawyers engineers construction workers students disability advocates bankers farmers and many many more.

The Opportunity

The Administrative Assistant assists with the day-to-day operation of the Legal Information Institute (LII) an organization devoted to producing a website that is used by tens of millions of Americans each year to find and understand the law. Primary responsibilities include:

Hours and Location
This position is a full-time benefits-eligible 39 hours per week role performed in a hybrid format of one (1) day per week remote and four (4) days per week at the Cornell Law School at 524 College Ave. Core LII office hours are 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday through Friday with some flexibility on start and end times to be determined by your supervisor.
