Key Responsibilities:
- Process and track Self-Study Accreditation and 18-Month Applications (all Accreditation Assistants will process all application types from submission to decision including assigning Observers through the accreditation portal)
- Provide excellent customer service to educators and coaches seeking more information about the accreditation process promptly preferably within 48 hours of receiving a message
- Assist stakeholders with portal navigation and provide technical assistance as needed
- Participate in discussions between internal cross-collaborative teams
- Submit monthly reports on application status and processing outcomes
- Follow SOPs and internal workflows for application processing
- Coordinate logistics such as Self-Study kit shipping and observations
- Support the delivery of Office Hours and training follow-up
- Flag delays or issues to the Accreditation Manager and Assistant Director
What youll bring:
- Some college experience with credits in Early Childhood Education or a related field (CDA preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and support engagement in group settings such as Office Hours or virtual events
- 1-2 years of experience in admin support or customer service
- Excellent attention to detail and written communication
- Comfortable working with databases and online systems
- Knowledgeable and able to deliver key points regarding the accreditation process to stakeholders
- A passion for helping others and supporting quality in early learning
Travel Expectations: Occasional travel may be required for team retreats training or conference support.
