We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our clients established laboratory team in Falkirk specialising in Haematology and Blood Transfusion. This role is primarily based on day shifts however flexibility is required as you may be asked to cover out-of-hours shifts as part of the rota.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties within the Haematology and Blood Transfusion departments. This includes processing and analysing samples maintaining laboratory equipment ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and contributing to the delivery of accurate and timely diagnostic results.
Qualifications and Experience:
HCPC registration
Proven experience in Haematology and Blood Transfusion
Previous out-of-hours or shift work experience is essential
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
