Victoria University TAFE (VU TAFE) is seeking an innovative and experienced manager to lead a high performing team and manage the operations of the Business and Legal Portfolio within the College of Health Early Childhood Education and Community Services.

The vocational education (TAFE) division of Victoria University offers job ready qualifications upskilling and reskilling for existing workers pathways to further studies workforce development and exposure to real-life work skills.
About the Role
This role will oversee staff leadership and management strategic planning program development and financial accountability within the Business and Legal Portfolio.
You will work collaboratively with the Executive Director College Leadership Team and teaching staff to provide best practice service to students and all is a great opportunity to enhance your leadership skills and progress your career aspirations.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing financial obligations including operating budgets.
- Managing the administration and academic delivery processes.
- Managing and supporting staff to deliver high performance.
- Contributing to the review of policies and procedures to efficiently and effectively manage business operations.
- Developing and managing key stakeholder relationships ensuring internal and external obligations are being met.
- Contributing to the implementation of the Universitys compliance framework ensuring internal processes and practices are compliant.
- Contributing to the review of policies and procedures to efficiently and effectively manage business operations.
- Employment Type: Full-time (1 FTE)
- Classification: SE3
- Remuneration: $122918 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation
- Work Hours: 38 hours per week
- Contract Length: Ongoing
